Where do fashion trends come from?  How does subculture influence fashion?

Subcultures such as hip-hop, punk and goth have always had a significant influence on the fashion industry and quickly become blended into popular culture. From Flava Flav’s iconic clock necklace to Pharrell William’s “Buffalo Hat”, these music legends prove that hip-hop fashion influences have been relevant in England since the early 1970’s (thank you Malcolm McLaren and Vivienne Westwood) and still going strong!
