This week on The Chrissy B Show I outline major fashion trends hitting down in London’s high street stores this Spring/Summer season, including the newest from designer’s like Vivienne Westwood, Iro, Ganni, Essentiel and more!
Special thank you to Question-Air for supplying all the garments.
Spring/Summer 2015 is all about the florals, fringe and monochrome. These are just some of the styles starting to trickle into shops by designers such as Vivienne Westwood, The Perfext, and Pyrus.
These weren’t the only trends seen on the catwalk this season, sheer white overlay, distressed denim skirts and 1970’s bohemian chic looks also abound! Catch a reply of my segment below:
Floral and animal prints are always a trend London is keen to adopt, watch for them combined with other trends such as the fringed kimono. Pair with white denim and heels for a fresh spring look.
Chrissy’s second look tonight is a classic black asymmetrically cut dress by Vivienne Westwood. The attention to draping and perfect cut of this dress make it a stylish classic for your spring wardrobe.
Monochrome is a timeless trend that can easily be made very rock ‘n roll with the right hair, makeup and accessories. I’m loving the butter soft fringed leather jacket by L.A. designers The Perfext over a Pyrus jumpsuit and stilettos. Punk Vivienne Westwood never disappoints with her carefully designer draped dresses complete with asymmetrical placed patterns…stylin’ day or night!
This week on Sky 203’s “The Chrissy B Show” Christmas fashion is the topic. This is the perfect time of season to get “dressed to the nines” at the family, friends and work gatherings you will be attending during this year’s holiday season.

Next week we will be looking more in depth at women’s and men’s Christmas fashion that is currently popping up in shop’s. Read about next week’s styling here.
This week on The Chrissy B Show the theme was Christmas cocktail dresses. Looking at the trends these holiday season expect bold colours, shiny detailed fabrics including sequins and beadwork and elegant lace outfits with sheer panelling.
Host Chrissy B is wearing a silver Vivienne Westwood Aztec dress. The two-toned silver brocade fabric and asymmetrical cut and special draping really make this dress an “all-out” choice for that festive get together. The dress is the centre of attention and so minimal jewellery and footwear are needed. Heels by Sam Edelman.
I went for an evening gown by Diane von Furstenberg in a gorgeous dark blue. The silhouette is very 1970’s, so perfect if you want to channel a specific decade on your big night out.
The draping detail at the front of the gown is great for hiding any unwanted bulges in the stomach area, thus providing a slimming effect. This dress also makes the most of someone with a smaller bust. Wear with open toe stilettos and silver jewellery for a chic elegant look.
Maegan is wearing a dress inspired by Kate Middleton’s recent appearance at The Royal Variety Show, where she showed up wearing a gorgeous black lace Diane von Furstenberg Zarita short cocktail dress. I chose gold lace for the holiday season. I’ve paired the dress with statement gold sparkly heels to complete the look.
Sheer lace panelling is pure feminine elegance and looks great with hair swept off face and shoulders to showcase lace detailing around the neckline.
This style of dress fits all body shapes, looks great on ladies of all ages and can be worn year round. A true “staple” in your wardrobe!
My fashion segment will air on The Chrissy B Show on Sky 203 Monday 16 November at 10pm, London.
This week on The Chrissy B Show the theme was ‘power’ dressing and outfits that channel power and confidence. Sleek silhouettes, tailored blazers, luxurious fabrics and bold colours are key to power dressing.
Host Chrissy B is wearing a 2 piece “Paris” suit in red tweed fabric that was inspired by the famous bouclé jacket first popularised in the 1950’s by Coco Chanel and paired with a matching knee length skirt. The two piece suit is cut straight with a slight A-line to provide comfort and movement without compromising style.
I went for a casual day look in black skinny jeans by Mother, ankle boots by Ash, and a button-up white shirt with collar detail by Vivienne Westwood. The outfit is immediately smartened and made chic by layering a tailored blazer overtop. I chose a black blazer by Danish brand Munthe that has a touch of sparkle in it for the holiday season. Maegan is wearing a casual look with military referencing. She is wearing special waxy army print jeans by Citizens of Humanity paired with Ash three buckle boots and a silk top by Pyrus. Luxe fabrics are a must in power dressing and the square pocket detail keep with the military theme. Remember the most important thing when power dressing is to feel confident and comfortable in what you are wearing and hold yourself in a manner that is confident and poised.
